Hi All,

I am looking for a bit of assistance in servicing my Fox DHX Air 4.0. I have trawled the internet and only ever found servicing guides for the Coil or RPC etc.

I have a gritty sound coming from the shock when in use so sounds like it needs cleaned and seals replaced. From what I have seen its not too complicated for the technically minded but as it has the Pro Pedal Resevoir on it I dont want to mess up anything when doing it.

If anyone can provide some steps or a guide it would be much appreciated.

Air sleeve maintenance is dead easy and you should be doing that fairly often. The damper is not as straightforward as it has hi pressure nitrogen in it. Probably have to send it in for that service.
