hopefully after a 2 month wait thanks to the local customs and the courier i'll be getting my DHR frame today :D . i'm going to use the race face diabolous cranks either with an evil SRS or the MRP dual system 2 and wanted to ask if somebody is already using one of these set ups so you can save me some time in the trial & error of installing the spacers in the BB/spindle in the DHR.

the set up of the silver DHR+ avy shock will be the following:

- E13 reducer cups + FSA IS headset on both sides of the headtube, i'll try to run the upper crown as low as possible
- 888R stock crowns+LS compression sleeve (after i receive the new lowers that i had to BUY after they broke. being down here it's more expensive to send the fork for inspection/warranty than to buy new lowers. i could rant a good time here against marz CS, but tks to go-ride everything went as smooth as possible, besides the issues with the lowers, this is the best fork i've ridden)
- hadley+D3.1+michelin comp16+stans latex
- hope mono6 205mm f/r
- shimano XT shifter/der+dura ace cassette+easton flats and AC 38t chainring
- mr. dirt stem, easton EA70 low rise, intense ODI grips
- thomson post, SDG seat, hope seat post clamp

hopefully the new baby will be ready next week when i get the 888 lowers and i'll try to load some pics for you. one issue i still have to deal with are the stickers. i asked for an extra set of the stickers to see if i can get the orange changed for red, if it's not possible i'll put the old school turner stickers + clear thick 3m in the same shape as the turner moto stickers to protect the frame.

tks in advance

I also cant really lend a hand in your specific Q regarding cranks. But, what i can add:

My setup is using raceface NSDH with a SRS, and a 73 x 113 BB. I believe i have 2 spacers under the SRS plate, although i should have 3. When i put in 3, the cranks chainring tabs for the small ring grind on the plate, so instead the 3rd washer on the BB shell, i spaced the top guide plate out. It sucks up the gap and seems to work fine. I raced all season and never had chain issues.

Also, about your stickers. I recieved the orange set and wasnt into the color mix... our team colors didnt match. At the time the other colors were reserved for specific teams. So i removed them, and replaced with the old school sticker and thick moto tape. Worked real good.

Good luck. Youll love the bike!!

Diego,
One of my buddies has an '04 DHR with the Diabolous cranks and an Evil SRS guide on the bike. If you follow the instructions with the cranks it's pretty straightforward as to how many spacers you need to use and where to use them. If you're having trouble getting it figured out when you assemble the bike, drop me an email and we'll get you squared away.
