Can anyone enlighten me as to what all the different shock and swingarm mounting positions on an Intense M1 do? It's a 1999 frame if that helps.

Cheers

3 holes in the swing link

closest to the frame = most progressive

farthest from mainfrrame = most linear

You should be able to figure out what the holes on the chainstay do for wheelbase. One longer, one shorter.
The 3 holes in the swing link (at the shock mount) are for head angle adjustment and BB clearance. The top hole is steeper head angle and taller BB. Then it's -1 deg and about -1/2" per hole down.

You're right. For some reason I was thinking of a specialized setup. Even then I'd still be wrong. Moving the mount position on the swing link would change travel not progressiveness. That would be on the frame. Sorry bout that. I've been injured too long. My brain is mush.

Where the swing link mounts to the frame, the upper holes give a more progressive stroke while the lower holes give a more linear stroke.
