Is it ever okay?

This woman in another forum started having relations with her sister when she was 11 yo. She thinks it's okay. When she turned 19, she asked her sister to marry her... the sister refused. That's all the info I have. I'm guessing her sister is older, probably 3-5 yrs older.

I told her politely that I hope she's getting therapy. She said, "love doesn't need therapy."

What kind of twisted home life produced THAT nightmare, I'd like to know. Is this for real or have you been loafing in front of the tube and taking a hit off the Springer? An incestuous lesbian teenager who WANTS to get married...can anyone possibly top this individual's level of confusion? :confused:

She's right- love doesn't need therapy...SHE does...in a bad way...and w/o losing even one minute of her weekly sessions to tardiness.

Reminds me of an episode of Springer. These two twins were totally sexing each other up, along with thier female cousin! Being Springer they were all french kissing on stage and everything. I have a good friend that his older sister (6 years older) started having sex with him from 7 to 11. When he was 14 he tried to have sex with his younger (4 years younger) sister. He was so 'brainwashed' that he honestly thought it was 'okay'.

He is now and has been in therapy for years to undo the damage in his mind.

Again I wonder, what type of environment did the parent(s) provide that something like this could happen? Did the older sister get it from daddy/stepdaddy when she was younger, and from there, the $hit just rolled downhill??? :think: :dead:

I don't have a sister, so I guess thankfully I'll never know...but is this just a relatively common, or even natural, occurance that we're just conditioned against? Are people doing it all the time and just never admitting to it later in life? Seems like a few people in our relatively small sampling here have second-hand experience with it...also seems sort of natural that in your years of sexual development, you look to the most accessible sources of knowledge/experimentation, and no one's likely to have specifically mentioned to you that "by the way, having sex with your relatives is considered a major no-no in society and in this family."

I knew a brother/sister that this happened to, but one pair out of all the kids I grew up with doesn't make it common.

It doesn't have to be mentioned, it's demonstrated. Which is why some have asked what kind of parents are these that allowed/encouraged/condoned such behavior? (Yes, some parents are good and sh:t just happens) But I've know many parents who specifically seperate their kids by gender into seperate bedrooms. After a few years, they stop having kids bathe together. They'll show a completely different kind of affection for each other than they do towards their kids. So kids are more taught by demonstration than someone actually telling 'em, yeah, don't touch your sibling like this and that -- unless it's actually happening.

yeah and it is also accepted there that women are for sex and boys are for love. or the mormons in utah and arizona that marry off their 14 year old daughters to 50 year old men and force them to have a baby a year.
