dude what is with drivers...I got beeped at while getting passed at 27 mph in a 35mph zone just outside of the center of town. Single dude in an F6000 contractor truck. So, I moved into the center of my lane for him.
If he had to cross the center line to pass you are actually supposed to honk or flash lights in most states.

Also -23% of the speed limit is kind of annoying.

His comment about being just outside the center of town likely infers that the speed limit has just gone up from 25 to 35 and apparently sandwich didn't floor it hard enough for señor brodozers tiny peen

Ah

In those cases no need to get upset about upsetting douche bags.

It’s more about how distracting and unnerving somebody beeping at you in your blind spot is.
I’ll note that this road has no shoulders and is just wide enough for two passing cars, but is plenty wide enough to make a safe and patient pass. Dude was just exhibiting smol pp energy.

@gonefirefightin has me all chubbed up for a Stihl battery saw. The msa220 tc-o looks perfect. But the idea of having over $1,000 in a top handle saw seems a bit of a stretch, kind of pours cold water on my shorts.
Unless you absolutely need a top handle or are heavily invested in Stihl battery stuff, I'd be inclined to grab a Dewalt or Milwaukee. Fraction of the price and you probably already have the batteries.

Do you have any reference to the law regarding this? I am genuinely curious and would like to know. I have never heard that you are supposed to beep when passing a cyclist, and most "rules of the road" pages say don't, ever.

I get really riled if someone behind me uses the horn. I know they're there.
Indeed. In this instance, I wasn't even doing anything dumb. I was close to the white line, admittedly avoiding potholes and sewers (again, road has no shoulder). I've been beeped at while doing something potentially dumb (passed somebody during a race, another truck got mad) but this time I was JRA.

i thought freestyle rollerblading might be better because it was this chick with an ass like two raccoons fighting over a chicken leg in a burlap sack but no,... still lame

I already have a gas powered Stihl top handle. This would replace that.
I have a bunch of Dewalt stuff, but under heavy use the batteries drain quite fast. In my mind chainsaw use would be heavy use thus draining the batteries way too fast for my liking. Thus making the Dewalt chainsaw worthless imo

I’ve wanted to make the Stihl battery dive, just haven’t pulled the trigger.

here, have another sip of the Stihl cool aid.

dumped a handful of myrtlewoods today, largest being around 3’ in diameter. Very hard wood, doesn’t even compare to any dewalt or Milwaukee saw, not even close. My Milwaukee saw isn’t good for anything but brushing and still has a 15 min battery life.

my top handle will cut a cord of lodgepole in one battery.

As of today I have two of the 161’s, the KMA 135r Kombi head with a power pruner attachment, the MSA300, two quick chargers, three AP300 batteries and two AP500 batteries. Will probably buy one more 500 battery and will be happy considering I can fully charge a 500 in the truck on a quick charger before I burn one in a tool. I opted for the kombi head since they make so many cool attachments for it. Not having to have ethanol free gas or mix or have to tune carbs and be able to run all these tools during fire season closures is key to me. All ya need is bar oil and that doesn’t make the cab stink.

Bicycled 58 miles and lots of vert with the wife. The strong wind that wasn't supposed to start until 3pm seemed to be with us and a headwind from the outset.
