I used to play against him in grade school (basketball and baseball) and he wasn't terribly amazing back then. I probably only saw him play a dozen or so times in high school. Very laid back player who can score with great ease and is also an excellent passer. I don't really approve of players going to the NBA right after high school (James would be an exception). Shaun's pretty cocky and LA is takin a big risk here, but hopefully everything works out for him.

Wasn't he the one that they said played against the high schoolers in 4th grade? If so, I would say he was pretty amazing. Might have been a different high schooler though.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he did play with them.

Suppose I misworded that....he was extrememly good, but I wouldn't have dreamed that he'd get drafted 4th out of high school.
