Hoping someone might be able to help me. I just bought a trek session 77 with the sherman breakout plus fork, I attached a shock pump to adjust the air presure and a bunch of oil spewed out of the shrader valve and now the forks making a horrible clunking sound. I have 0 experince with manitou forks and if someone can offer some suggestions as to what happened and how I fix it ( apart from get a different fork ) it would be greatly appreciated!

Im gana say take it in to the shop. Thats pretty much your best option. Manitou has a record for random things like that happening.

I used to have one of these forks, and this happened to me once. The SPV valve is most likely blown. My fork started making the clunking noise while I was riding, then when I connected the shock pump to check air pressure, a bunch of oil leaked out of the air valve. Take it to a shop, and they'll have to send it back to Manitou for service.
