One says Breakout, and the other says Breakout + on it.

Im serious!

You can also measure axle to crown height

I'm fairly certain this is the deal:

'03 breakout: 6" | TPC+
'03 breakout +: doesn't exist
'04 breakout: 6" | SPV
'04 breakout +: 7" | SPV
'05 breakout: 6" | SPV evolve
'05 breakout +: 7" | SPV evolve

only the travel changes between the breakout and breakout + from identical years.

'05 stances have TPC+

Hmmmmm, well it sounds like its a 6" fork--from the top of the seals to the bottom of the crown where the stancions are fitted is 7". I ASSume a 7" travel fork's exposed stancions would measure closer to 8".

How do I figure out if its SPV or TPC then? (ie., according to Incubus, whether its an 03 or an 04). Im gonna be kinda pissed if its an 03--the shop owner I bought it from said the Gemini 2000 was a stock 04. He already ripped the Swinger off the rear and replaced it with an RC...

If it's an OEM fork it could be an '04 with TPC+. I think that Manitou sold some '04 Sliders with TPC+ for OEM builds. TPC+ is not a bad thing. SPV forks seem to be a love/hate type of deal.

Tarpon's probably right. OEM forks (which yours is given it came off of a Gemini) probably differ from what I'd listed.

TPC+ == knob on right leg.
SPV == hex nut with air valve on right leg.
