I have a Marzocchi Junior T on my bike right now(Kona Stinky) and I want to upgrade to a Sherman Slider Plus-I think. Are these good forks? Is there anything bad about them. All my friends have told me they are good. I found one on e-bay that I think I am going to bid on unless I hear they are horrible. Here is the link Manitou Sherman Slider Plus Hopefully you guys can take a look at it and tell me what you think?

I am also considering a Marzzochi Super T fork. Is this better than the Sherman Slider. What do you think of this deal . Super T I heard marzzochi's are really durable.
I am going to be using this for streetriding and downhilling. I would like to work my way up to being able to race at plattekill or do races some other place.
Thanks for the help you guys can give me.

i really like my slider plus (on my gemini) my buddy had an older dorado and blew it out and then got a slider plus and likes it more (his on a BB7) not only is the fork pretty light it takes all the bumps and corners really well. i have bottomed mine once or twice on big hits but i think that is mainly me not having tuned right and being 190lbs not using stiff springs. my friend is about 150 and hits bigger than i do and has never had a problem. so i would say we both can put in a good word for it. i say bid on it

I just put an '05 model on my bike last week and can not say enough good stuff about it. I had only heard good things about them before I bought it and was surprised when they called up and said that they were out of '04s and I would be getting an '05. Sweet!

Took it out a few times and it's nice. I haven't played around with the adjustments too much yet, so it's nowhere near dialed, but it feels sweet. Just had it out the other day where I had to climb for about an hour and a half with some XC buds to get to the top and the SPV worked like a charm.

Now I just need to buy something new for the rear or 'push' mine.

I'd bid on it.
