I made a drunken late night purchase not realizing that the new Shimano XT cranks all have seperate roadie “q factors” aka spindle lengths. Anyhow apparently I needed the M8100 for 52mm chainline and ended up with M8120 for 55mm. Anyone installed these yet? From the shimano literature it looks like I may be able to just put the 3mm drive side spacer on the non- drive side to get those 3mm back but I dunno... bought them off the fleaBay so no returning them.

Is the for boost or non boost bike?

It’s for a boost bike. Specs call for 52mm chainline.

They are the wrong chainline and the fix should be as easy as spacer on the non drive side.

I'd try them without the extra spacers first. If not dropping chain while back-pedaling, you're good.
