I bought some mismatched levers for my new Shimano Saint brakes, necessitating some new fittings to attach to the caliper.I was wondering, is it necessary to buy the shimano-brand banjo units and banjo bolts to attach them properly?

I don't know from experience, but I would hope that it's standard metric hardware.
