Has anyone ever rode over some rough terrain and had the spring in their rear derailleur come loose. Although it may have something to do with a wreck i had, mine came loose and was a mayah mayah biaaaaatch to put back together.

The B-tension spring? The one that coils around the der. mounting bolt? I've lost a couple of those -- one hint for putting it back together is to bend the ends of the spring so they go a little past 90deg. - making a tighter "hook" so it won't pull out of the lil' holes as easily. Also, it's much easier to reassemble the whole shebang if you use two Vise-grips.
