Hey...my l33t googling skillz seemed to have failed me and shimano's site is not helpful. No, I'm not going to "contact them" cause ...well...I don't wanna (unless that's the only way...).

Anyway, I have some Ultegra PD-6610 pedals and the right side bearings just shat themselves this morning. So, I'm looking for a tutorial/manual/anything to help me replace the bearings. I suppose I'll need to order the rebuild kit and the stupid special tool (yes, I will use it more than once...cause all I run are shimano clipless...for mtb and road) from my lbs unless someone has a better suggestion...

Thanks in advance.

Ha....well...just hamfisting the f*ck out of it worked nicely...

Found that out of the 32 (or something...) ball bearings that are supposed to be there, there were only 20 fully intact...plus a handful of pieces...and some metal shavings...

It was bad. b-a-d...bad....

And now I know how to tear apart a Shimano Ultegra road pedal.

Yay.
