I read somwhere about fedex stealing bikes in shipping, really sucks, make sure everyone insures the bike, hopefully in cases like these it will be worth every cent

It happens. I had a bike go missing in a trico once. It was a week "missing". I called to make my claim and pointed out that it was insured for $10 000 usd after being told it was gone, nothing they coudl do about it etc.

Sure enough. less than an hour later, it was found at a warehouse in michigan and being sent overnight.

I called up and bitched them out yesterday, and sure enough I got called back 20min later and they said a check was on its way.

Good to hear your check is on the way. Hope you wont have to deal with that again
