Hi
At first i'd like to apologize for my language.
I bought specialized big hit with Shiver included and i've encountered some problem with this fork. When i land on flat or jump from bigger drops like 3m there is a loud knocking sound coming from inside, the fork is not bottoming because there is still about 3-4cm of travel left (grease sign on legs). The bottom crews of the fork are tightened.Does anyone of you may know whats the reason of this problem? Please answer.

Check to make sure that the black fluted piece of plastic that prevents the spring from knocking on the pistons isn't cracked. I have seen several Shivers where once that piece has cracked bits of plastic have floated into the valving and caused hydraulic lock-out well before true bottom out. And oddly enough these same forks tend to make a loud noise when they hydraulically bottom.

If the piece is cracked but not badly you can just clean out the leg (do it well, and try to get out any pieces stuck inside the damper) and get some fresh oil. If the piece is pretty badly cracked or you can't get all the pieces out from inside the damper just replace the whole cartridge. You can run a clean cartridge without that black plastic piece but there will be a whole lotta knocking noise (shrink wrap may help in this situation).
