I just switched from an azonic shorty to the marzocchi itergraded stem on my shiver.I did a few drops and noticed my head set came loose,so I went to local bike shop and had them install a Azonic through bolt system and it seemed to work until it exploded off a 4 footer last night.I cant go back to the shorty cause I already cut my steerer tube. Does anybody know how to rectify this problem?

unless i'm missing something i do not see why you can not keep to the marzocchi system. just install a starfangled nut and head set cap. it is not uncommon for a sealed bearing headset to come loose soon after adjustment so bring a wrench with you and fix it on the trail. as long as you are loosening all the upper crown bolts before the adjustment i cant see why this would cause problems.
my guess as to why the through bolt broke wass probably because the headset was loose. just guessing!

I tried that first then tried the through bolt, because the stem now bolts to the upper crown, there's nothing to hold the steerer tube ,except the upper crown itself.Wich is only one bolt.

well true it is only one bolt on the steerer tube but you also have blots on the sliders which also keep the crown from moving. so just make sure before you make an adjustment to loosen all the bolts and make sure the crown is moving and not getting stuck on the sliders. just becareful not to overtighten the bolts, you'll damege the clamp and the slider.
