    HI guys.

I purchased a kit (seal/wiper) to replace my old but still very trustworthy Shiver DC's seals and wipers. Looking at the Shiver's manual, seems like a simple enough job but i am stuck on a very important step...I can't remove the darn wiper! It seems either glued on there or simply so dried up from the ages it has been on there that it is stuck firmly. Any ideas? Heating it up? Let it soak in something? Thoughts?

    Thanks.

Well, i'll answer my own question with a very simple tip! While browsing a motorcycle forum, i came upon this very simple solution...Hot water. Let your fork (seal/wiper end) soak in HOT water for 10-15 mins and they come out like they were dipped in butter...
