I'm in a pinch and need to get some replacement fluid for my shock. I have 10wt fox fluid in there now, but I want to go lighter. I have access to 10wt Maxima fork fluid, which has a lower CST@ 100 but is about the same at 40. It's also petroleum vs. synthetic. Can I use that to get me through a quick rebuild until my shock can be sent to fox, if they ever call me back? I'd like to get back on the trail asap, and the valving in my shock is a bit too heavy for my bike, so I'd ideally like to try a lighter oil in it.
