I just picked up a heckler for my girlfriend. It came with a dhx 5.0 coil so im looking to switch it out for an air shock. Ive good pricing on both the rockshock monarch rt3 normal or high volume and the manitou evolver or swinger air shocks. Both are working in and around the same price. Just want to know which you think would be best to go with for a very light rider. Shes approx 125lbs with gear.
Im leaning towards the monarch as I've on on my nukeproof mega and think it feels great. I was thinking of going for the low compression and medium rebound tune with the high volume air can. She doesn't ride that hard and I think shed benefit from a very supple first 3rd of the travel. Anyone got any recommendations and don't say fox, as the pricing for me isn't as good and I've had an rp23 and I didn't think too much of it.
