I do not recommend putting on a big fork and a big shock on that frame, you will mess with geo. and also void your warranty.
But a bit beefier suspension sure. The front end is specced for 120-130mm if I remember correctly.
Another 20mm of travel up front should be fine, on the rear however it's tricky to get away with a longer suspension unit. And going "chopper" is not fun.
If you are looking for som heavy duty riding, get a frame that matches your desire for a downhill fork/shock better.
