Shocks for my frame - SPV

I have a Salsa Caballero and want on the SPV bandwagon cuz my sid bobs like a hooker for a tip.

Give me some input. I can get a propedal for 225, but there is no negative air. Will that make a difference? I can get a manitou swinger for 275. I can get a 5th element for $350 + $20 for hardware. Tha t is what salsa offers besides the sid, but I understand that those are a little squirrely on a rear triangle that is not a single pivot. Any ideas???

I would go with the swinger. From what I've heard, propedal doesn't do too much and the 5th's aren't very reliable. I enjoy the ride of the swinger the most and they tend to be pretty reliable.
