What do people think of the 2001 mountain cycle shockwave?

Great if you like replacing bushings often and strange noises coming from EVERYWHERE.


Stay away. Look at a newer MC if that's your thing.

I'm still riding one. Bushings are as tight as day one. Mine doesn't sound like a tin can either. Pretty quiet actualy. It's starting to look like crap, it's a big target if you dump the bike. That said I would not recomend you get one unless it is dirt cheap. Get this, it uses a 2" stroke shock to get 8" of travel.

I cant help you with the 2001 however..... i just know they dont have the best reputation....
