I dont know about anywhere else, but does any one notice that parents are scared to put the life of their child in the hands of the big yellow cheese wagon driver? I sat in a 1 mile back up of parents taking their kids to school all turning left and overflowing the left turn lane into the traffic lane. I used to ride the glorious bus when i was growing up (the short one too... :busted: only one that came near my house). I know around the DC area when either school is off for the day or its summer traffic flows 10x's better. I just dont understand the need to drive your child to school on a daily basis unless a kid on the bus is stealing his lunch money, giving him a wedgie, and peeing on his pant leg. in which case you should enroll your child in Kung Fu and let him fend for himself. Thank you for caring and have a great day!:bonk:

you have to pay to take the bus to school in my town. but i do hate all of the parents who drop their kids off and pick them up in the senior lot as it causes huge back ups all the time. especially after school when all of the parents in the huge suvs line the sides of the aisles that are just wide enough for 2 cars so only 1 car can get through at a time. took me about 20 min to get out of the parking lot today because of this.
