What's the big deal about Upper West Side Libs booing at some people carrying McCain signs?

I bet you would get the same reaction if you carried Obama signs in Iowa City or San Antonio.

As for Howard Stern's "poll", this reminds me of "Jaywalking". Do you think the people who answer the questions correctly are the ones that get put on the air, or the idiots?

at least there's footage of this, unlike the singular "kill him" claim, which should have been covered my the sheer number of cell phone cameras, to say nothing of the expected bevy of media.

can anyone verify "kill him" was said at a palin rally? and if so, by a palin supporter, and not an obama surrogate-cum-plant (wouldn't be the first time one side has "infiltrated" the other)?

Whether it was said or not, the subsequent observations and opinions derived from the early attack tactic of attaching Obama to terrorists and such are valid. The point is that bringing up too much misinformation and fear about your opponent will make for violence.

McCain saw that his campaign was crossing the line, as evidenced by the video where he corrected the lady who was calling him an Arab.

So let me retort in n8 language so you more clearly understand.

i like Ron Paul in some respects. Both him and Nader have some great ideas imo.

But to answer your question i say no.

Why?

Put yourself in Obama's shoes. You are looking to win a job. Now all of a sudden your opponent is inferring heavily that you consort with terrorists. Of which we supposedly are currently waging a war against. Enemy=Death.

You'd have to be a stupid ass NOT to rush to judgement.

Now we're getting into the Socialist phase of attacks. Little more safe as we're currently not in the cold war, but of course it's still a course of raising doubt through fear and misinformation, aka mudslinging.

(Sunday, October 19 - Filed by Mark Williams in Raton, New Mexico with the Stop Obama Tour) We learned at this morning&#8217;s Stop Obama Rally here that the McCain/Palin Straight Talk Express came through town yesterday. It arrived with a window shattered by a .22 caliber weapon. It had also been hit by an unknown number of paint balls from a paint ball gun or guns. There were reportedly no injuries and neither candidate was on board.
