What's the big deal about Upper West Side Libs booing at some people carrying McCain signs?

I bet you would get the same reaction if you carried Obama signs in Iowa City or San Antonio.

As for Howard Stern's "poll", this reminds me of "Jaywalking". Do you think the people who answer the questions correctly are the ones that get put on the air, or the idiots?

at least there's footage of this, unlike the singular "kill him" claim, which should have been covered my the sheer number of cell phone cameras, to say nothing of the expected bevy of media.

can anyone verify "kill him" was said at a palin rally? and if so, by a palin supporter, and not an obama surrogate-cum-plant (wouldn't be the first time one side has "infiltrated" the other)?

so there are valid reasons to assassinate dubya?
i never say that, and don't agree with killing leaders. i'm not sure where you read this into my statement.

:p
Whether it was said or not, the subsequent observations and opinions derived from the early attack tactic of attaching Obama to terrorists and such are valid. The point is that bringing up too much misinformation and fear about your opponent will make for violence.

McCain saw that his campaign was crossing the line, as evidenced by the video where he corrected the lady who was calling him an Arab.

So let me retort in n8 language so you more clearly understand.

ahahahahaha you stupid wingnut fascist. Just because nobody says kill him doesn't mean you get to erase the overall happenings of the topic and what transpired. It's not like football where you bring the ball back after someone get's called for holding.

wait, wouldn't that make obama gullible? wouldn't that be a demonstration of his rush to judgment? wouldn't this mindset be 'more of the same'?

r0n p@u| !!!ein!!
i like Ron Paul in some respects. Both him and Nader have some great ideas imo.

But to answer your question i say no.

Why?

Put yourself in Obama's shoes. You are looking to win a job. Now all of a sudden your opponent is inferring heavily that you consort with terrorists. Of which we supposedly are currently waging a war against. Enemy=Death.

You'd have to be a stupid ass NOT to rush to judgement.

Now we're getting into the Socialist phase of attacks. Little more safe as we're currently not in the cold war, but of course it's still a course of raising doubt through fear and misinformation, aka mudslinging.

You know it exists, I don't know why youtube makes a difference.

That little amish kid needs to hurry up and get his beard going though. Baby needs something to pull on. That's based on the assumption he can actually grow one at his age though.

I would like to think that these kind of people are only found tucked away in the depths of trailer parks, but lately I have realized that they are all around me and I am scared.

oh, wait...

and it looks like foxnews got duped into believing this actually happened.

i mean, this wouldn't actually be obama supporters doing this, would it? it must be mccain plants. it has to be.

and hey, it's just good clean fun to degrade women to the point that you can even joke around about them being gang-raped by a bunch of black guys. i mean let's be honest: rape is way over-dramatized. you never hear of anyone hosting a "rape mystery" - it's always a "murder mystery".

any of you pussies "scared" now?

I can see how you would equate the unfunny jokes of a washed up hack comedienne who gets paid (too much) for crossing the lines of good taste to the statements of random(ish) folks about town who get nothing more than 15 seconds of infamy in return for their less-than-self-aware statements.

I really don't understand how a normaly socially functioning human can not work out that when someone points a camera at you...... You should be very careful in choosing your words.

Here a citizen journalist captures the bigotry and knuckle-dragging stupidity of punters at a Sarah Palin campaign rally,

Fvcking depressing really. :(

EXCLUSIVE: .22 Gunshot, paint balls fired at McCain / Palin Straight Talk Express
(Sunday, October 19 - Filed by Mark Williams in Raton, New Mexico with the Stop Obama Tour) We learned at this morning’s Stop Obama Rally here that the McCain/Palin Straight Talk Express came through town yesterday. It arrived with a window shattered by a .22 caliber weapon. It had also been hit by an unknown number of paint balls from a paint ball gun or guns. There were reportedly no injuries and neither candidate was on board.
nothing to see here...move along...

You might have a point about this. But when I see that picture, I think of hung in effigy (and that Bush deserves it).

If I saw a mock-up of Obama in a noose, this is the first image that comes to mind:

Call me prejudiced.
