Yeah...not putting out any energy to get this album or see this incarnation of the band.
I seriously thought this song was like that "what phish sounds like to people who don't like fish" video.
I can only hope this is the worst song on the album. What's with the 1987 synths? I can't figure out which song that guitar solo is recycled from.

I have been listening to the album for the last two weeks and the rest of it is really good.
"Tattoo" is the worst song on the album. I seriously thought the lyrics were a parody until I watched an interview with DLR explaining the song. The rest of the songs sound like classic Van Halen. There is definitely some recycling going on, but who doesn't rework their successful stuff and resell it?
I am a huge Joe Satriani fan, but I still haven't gotten the new Chickenfoot, whereas I have been playing the new VH a lot.

Listened to the new Chickenfoot (3) on the plane the other day...pretty good stuff. Will buy when the price drops...
