Since I see a lot of jurb advice I will ask you monkeys what to do in my case:

I'm 25. My CV has been a bit empty so far. My only work experience before summer 2011 was freelance translating and editing bike zines. From late 2011 I was on a 2 month internship in a media house, sent a magazine where I was 2nd in chief to print, worked with a local crew organizing bike events and got a great gig analyzing movies for a big distributor recently.

Right now I'm a bit in a pickle. Working in a media house is not my goal. My 2nd run with the company is a bit worse. They got really detail oriented and instead of learning stuff I'm mostly trying to make presentations look perfect, do same old data analysis. I don't feel like I progress skill wise though it probably helps my CV anyway. Not sure if that's important but to cut it short I don't like to work here.

At the same time I get infrequent but very work intensive contracts from the movie distributor. I get no feedback from them outside from getting new contracts (not even reply mails). They told me they want to expand my responsibilities (did ad campaign and release schedule consulting as a test last weekend) and I will probably get A TON of well paying contracts come Canes time (will probably make 4-5x more than on my internship). The job is very gratifying, I like it, love it but it doesn't feel secure at all. It's my priority to keep it at all cost.

Those 2 plus event team and mag work mean 3 days a week I often do 12-13h work/days, the rest is often still over 8h. It has seriously been cutting into my sleeping time and I've been watching close to no movies which are part of my job since they rely on me being fresh and up to date with new stuff but the 2nd one is a silly issue. That being said my personal life is dead and training and generally it slowly makes me unhappy. I also finally want to go into copywriting (there are no real ad schools in Poland outside of 1 or 2 that are a joke in the community) so I need to at least be making mock campaigns for my portfolio but I have no time for that. Same for finishing my degree.

So now I ask for your advice. What should I do now? Working for the movie distri and my internship come Canes time will be impossible anyway. Plan A is to work with the distributor(and leave internship sooner) which will not be full time, do some side jobs (might get paid cash by the bike event guy owner) and try to work on my portfolio/getting into copywriting if the movie gig doesn't go full throttle, Plan B is to work on my internship for as long as the movie gig allows it and get out when I get something more stable.

i hear there are lots of opportunities in the porno industry in eastern europe...
Duuude, male porn is a demanding job, doesn't pay well and doesn't look to good in a CV. Why would I do that? ;)

btw. I prefer South American porn

As tempting as it is I can't quit all my jurbs and the movie gig is awesome. I get to get previews and screenings way before theatrical release anywhere in the world. That plus no skills and experiance in Poland at 30 would be really hard. Though when I saw gravity bolivia jurb add on mtbr 2 or 3 years ago applying and buying a plane ticket seemed like an awesome idea. At the moment my dream would be to have a future freelance job that allows me to manage my time according to what I think is right, probably one that allows me to be on the move since I'm not really patriotic or willing to stay in PL. If killing myself for a few months helps that I can go with it but at the same time freelance jobs is more about skills than CV and unless I get to do more new stuff I will not learn much in the comming months.
