I'm looking for a winter training spot in the eastern us to train up and coming dh riders this winter! We have been going to Bootleg Canyon for the past couple yrs and it's too expensive. Windrock was my 1st thought but I would like to hear other options. Thanks for any help you can provide

Yeah windrock would be good but it does get super slick and cold at times.
A newish place 2 hours further would be the TTC outside of chattanooga and they have heated cabins u can rent on site for pretty cheap.

Where are you from? I'm from North Carolina but just spent this past winter/spring riding in Oregon. It was surprisingly awesome(dry) conditions for winter riding, although I heard from all the locals that it was not very typical of a normal winter there. I'm back in the south this year and I don't plan on hanging my bike up for winter. Have you looked into southern Cali or Arizona?
I'm up in toronto! We are looking into a place on the east coast so we can drive instead of flying to cut down on costs!! Weather at windrock isn't a big deal we ride bromont in the rain all year
