Even though I had to work on Monday, I had yesterday off to enjoy Independence Day. It was beautiful San Diego weather and good times with family and friends.

After the good food we headed to Coronado to find a place to watch the fireworks across the bay from the city. We found a nice cozy spot and we had Orven hold it while Eric and I went in search of some coffee and snacks.

The fireworks display was pretty cool, three barges launched the identical show lined up along the San Diego Bay

Even though we had the bikes and were able to get to our car fairly quickly, we still got stuck in traffic trying to get off the "island"

Fun times! I need a vacation now.

Nice I miss seeing the fireworks off Daytona Beach.

We took Syd to her first fireworks display last night and she seemed to enjoy it!

We took Syd to her first fireworks display last night and she seemed to enjoy it!

I remember the first time I took my niece to the fireworks...all she could do was just stare in awe at the lights. Glad Syd enjoyed it!
