Figured I would share some pictures from riding this weekend...Saturday was a 14-mile XC ride at Lake Hodges with the group from RockMTB- a local mountian bike ministry that hosts group rides in the San Diego area. About 25 people showed up for the ride and good times were had by all!

Hey, I just took the plate from 2004 Dalton off my Rocky Mountain. Then again, Friday was the first time I have ridden that bike since.

I hang all my race numbers on the wall in my garage. So many last place finishes, they are a good source of motivation.

No, no, no...that is my BACKUP bike, used in my final lap at Dalton. I rode that bike Friday night because my fat lazy ass has not replaced the derailluer on my Titus.

Last shot of the day...I almost ran over this poor baby rattler...who was nice enough to let me know he wasn't happy about it

All in all a great weekend, albeit a little sore.

It was beautiful. I didn't get a chance to see the dam overflowing, but it was still some very beautiful scenery. There were even some boaters there.

Hey I'm the pale looking guy sitting right next to you when we were taking a break. I responded in the thread in the SoCal forum that I should have introduced myself to you guys. Sunday looks like it was more fun than Saturday, I'd never ridden lake hodges and was expecting a little more technical stuff or at least some little freeride stuff off the side of the trail, I got a nice workout though.

Great pics. i almost crushed a little garter snake up here on my last ride i was gonna stop and grab him and take pictures but i figured i'd just let him slither off into the bushes. That thought really wouldn't have crossed my mind with a baby rattler.
Good to see so many mudhunnies out there and looks like good times were had by all on your XC ride.
