Considering all the neon being tossed around lately I would say those are tame, but I would be biased toward the second option as well. They look sweet.
Kind of a different direction, but I have a comment on shoe relations to pedals. I just bought a few pairs of PCs to see how they work. With my worn in shoes (that bend over the pedal) they work really well when I ride dirt, but my stiff new Nikes are not that hot. I would imagine that would be the case for all skate shoes which tend to be stiff when new, but just seeing if I'm on the same page with others in similar situations or if I'm off.
