I'm just curios is it just me or are other people sick and tired of hearing about Iran, Iraq, North Korea, etc. Its not like I can change anything going on over there. I would love to have just one day go by where I don't hear about it. Don't get me wrong I support the people over there, heck I have family in Afghanistan and Iraq. I'm just tired hearing about it on the news, it never stops.

I'm sick of people not caring about the world they live in and prefer to be blind and to only focus on their own petty lives.

Since so much of it is just BS Hype to get you to stay tuned so that they can count you are their rating or buy a newspaper - I really do not care.

However NOT talking about it is dangerous as well...

Out of my mind, back in a moment.
I don't really give a damn. They're not telling anything of value; it's all just sensationalism designed to retain a viewing audience. Do I care what's going on over there? Absolutely. Do I want to hear it from american news sources? Hell no.

they're talking about them because they need to whip up public ire (whether misdirected or not) before they can invade.

I voted "Don't care", meaning if I don't want to hear about it, I'll change the channel or not visit news websites.
:stupid:

I monitor my intake. I still have friends overseas, so I pay attention. But I don't spend countless hours staring at CNN or anything.

I also try to offset Fox News with some Jerry Springer so I don't go insane.

First of all, if you voted for a Democratic Congressman, then you are making a difference. Whether you think the war should end today or a hundred years from now, Democratic led Congress is at least challenging the President, which leads to serious questioning about the war. At best, they will force an end to the war.

Agree. There's no threat but by creating and repeating lies over and over they become so familiar with us that they become true.

About the poll, I want to hear an equla amount of what western media has to say as to what media of the third world says, especially in those countries targeted by mainly the US.
