i tried finding the correct email on sram for this question, but their website doesnt seem very email freindly anyway i have a 2011 sid RLT 120mm and i want to lower it to 100mm, anybody know if its possible and how/what i need?

You need to put a 20mm spacer under the topout bumper. IIRC the spring shaft is 20mm in diameter.

and this should effectively lower my fork (axle to crown) and not just limit the travel?

edit: found an article on it, and the RS service manual as well. now to get my hand on a spacer...
