Someone bumped a thread last nite from a year ago, probably having no idea it was that old.

Im just saying in the lounge, in particular, things could get alot LESS relevant, if that's possible. It'd be good for anywhere else tho.

true...this would be very useful in forums like Tech Talk and the like...i remember there was talk about a mod hand-selecting threads which were very informative and worthwhile, and stowing them in an archive for easy searches, but that's too much work to be done manually, imo.

There's a lot of content that is "timeless". As for bumping old threads...sometimes it's helpful, sometimes it's annoying, and it'll just be ignored when it's annoying.
