You should have done what I do - the day before, change your birth date in your profile. The day after, change it back.

No one ever even sees that it was your birthday.

(of course I missed this last time and had to go through the pain and humiliation of all the HBD's...)

Anyway - HBD!!

I hate to be the harbinger of sad realities, but once you hit 21, birthday significance wanes rapidly. I always took the day off work until I was 30, but now, it's like any other day except that I get an extra-nice dinner, a few cool toys and guaranteed tail. Come to think of it, that's not so bad.

 Happy Beerday, just the same.

Yeah, I know, I agree. Yesterday kinda sucked anyway. I worked all day (10-7) came home and my lady took me to Morton's which was SUPER nice, but then she got food poisining (we think) from her dessert. So it was a pretty crappy night after that.

oh well, there's always next year

Morton's IS nice, especially the burger & steaks.

Did you get any cool gifts, at least? From experience, I know that food poisoning tends to sabotage the 'guaranteed tail' part.

I got a $150 gift certificate to G-Force Karts! Its a local Go kartery, and its awesome.

I also got some checks in the mail, and i'm debating if I should get an iPod or put them toward bills and rent and the such

And yeah, i'm still waiting for the "guaranteed tail...."

don't be discouraged...mine was totally missed as well and I have been on this site forever...BD's aren't that big of a deal when you really think about it...D
Now that's a travesty! I almost never remember to look at the birthdays thing, and whenever I do remember it's usually a bunch of names I don't recognise.
