5.5 hours later finished mowing and trimming. It was 85 with 93% hoomids. I’m not sure if Batman has a better cape or my balls.

Brunch -> beach parking lot before 9:00 place was empty. 16 miles pounding sand. took a dip tried to even out some tan lines. Left the beach it was a mad house at 12:30. Chore time, would like anther Sunday before Monday.
I had a Lego castle like that when I was an actual 8 year old. Pretty sure it was smaller, and less cool, though. Would be pretty cool to put one together with my 8 year old.
my kids are 5 and 7. they are already lego freaks too. we are gonna have a good time.
Well, my kiddo learned an extremely valuable lesson about communication this morning. He felt like ass (we head him on the can at 4:00 am), so he wrote a text to his boss-lady at 7:30 am, and went back to bed. (This is his first job, bagel shop.).
Well, it was a busy as shit Sunday, and they needed him. Turns out he didn’t hit send on his text. Oops.
got canned. The boss lady is one of my wife’s clients.
this was a teachable moment, he only had a week left.
But damnit, kid, if you are gonna call in sick, WAIT FOR A RESPONSE.
HE’s pretty damn bummed.
