I have finished setting up my SS and I am looking for a good chain.

I used a cheap new KMC 1/8 chain for the initial setup and now that it is done I want a better chain. The KMC is okay, but it is stretching super fast and I would prefer a 3/32 chain for better fit and quieter operation.

I would prefer a half link chain so I can eliminate my chain tensioner in the near future. A 3/32 standard chain with a half link is an option.

The Gusset Slink 3/32 looks really good, but I don't see any US retailers with them in stock.

Any recommendations?

I run the Sram hollowpin 991 on my SS and it's been solid. No stretch so far and it's been reliable and smooth.

Eh. Nine speed chains are a little too narrow for the 3/32 cogs.

I just noticed Jenson is selling KMC 710s for less than 10 bucks. Maybe I'll just grab one until the hipsters stop wiping out the half link chains.
