So I've done some searching but haven't been able to settle on it. I need an armor jacket. I've been pushing my luck riding/racing downhill all summer without one. I don't need impenetrable protection everywhere. I do need something breathable as I seem to heat up easily. The dainese would probably be great but is way too much cash. (Thus why I haven't gotten one yet.) The question is if the SP-1 will fit. I'm about 6' tall 175lbs with a leanish upper body. Has anyone like me gotten the large to fit well or will it be hanging off of me? So far I've read that it seem to fit well on people bigger than me and that the medium is too small on someone leaner than me. Thoughts?

I was about to recommend the opposite.
The large is huge. At 5'10, 175 it did not fit me right until the end of the year when if shrunk some. Then again, I have not tried on a medium to compare.
That joker does "protect ya neck" for ya though. I used mine excessively and often.

Well then I'm thinking that the medium must be alot smaller than the large because I've now heard two accounts of the medium's smallness. Looks like it's the large for me. Meh, I can always modify/cut the straps shorter

I'm 6'0 probably around 185-in a large (2003). I'd do the large, so It does'nt ride up on you. My friend is about 6'0, 200 pounds and his large is a little small for him. I guess it's the way your built, his chest and shoulders are bigger than mine so it runs a little tight on him.

I would guess large. I am around 5'10", 185 or so. I have a Pressure Suit but I assume the sizing is similar. I got the large and it fits me well. I have a pretty big upper body but if I were taller and thinner, I would probably go for the large to make sure it's long enough.

im 6', 150 lbs and the medium fits me so so perfectly. i didnt even have to adjust the straps when i got it outta the box. I'd say you need a large.

I'm about the same size as Jeremy. I bought a Large and it was too big. I got a medium and it fits pretty well except the wrist cuff/thumb loop is really snug.

I am 5'10, 190lbs and the large fits me in the chest and shoulders. The thing that is big about the large is the forearm pads. They are VERY long...they extend all the way to, if not past your wrist. That's what makes it feel big....the rest of the fit is perfect.
