get a 50 mm stem from soul and be done with it. if you hate it that much, your only out a few dollars, and you can put your uber (gay) long stem back on. how bout that..

your money was spent.

i think you have to look at it from your own perspective
does your top tube feel about right?? if its a lil short the shorter stem will make it worse ...i say get a shorter one and try it
its always nice to have extra stuff laying around too

I switched from a Thomson 90mm/15% to a RF Diabolous 70mm and the feel is definitely more suited to DJ.

Stock P.2's have a 50mm stem. Neither the 50 or the 70 would be good for trail riding (too cramped) or climbing (not enough weight over front tire), but are good for descending, dropping/hucking and jumping.

Pick your poison, then experiment.
