Is there a story?
I have an old white industries freewheel with two cogs on my SS. I lost the special tool needed to remove it years ago (during a move…). I hope I never need to get that thing off - especially since it was my Cape Cod bike for a decade! :coolstorybrah:
Single speed got all dressed up yesterday and I reorganized the garage so that I could store my toolbox since I don't need that at work anymore. Couldn't find the freewheel tool or the freewheel I've had hanging out for years so the old one stayed on the single speed and of course it now creaks horribly with the new chain, so I guess I'll take it to the LBS and have them replace the freewheel. I assume the missing tool and part are just misplaced from the move. Hopefully they will turn up one day.
The one I have is OEM, and that bike is at least 15 years old. Probably the smarter move to pay a bike shop to remove it. I don't need that frustration in my life. Probably a bro move to soak it with some penetrating oil, now that I'm thinking about it.I have an old white industries freewheel with two cogs on my SS. HBD all around!Happy birthday to @mykel and @lovebunny !!
Here. Workouts have been seemingly simple to start with, but getting to 7500 steps per day when your office is in the basement is hard. We've started family walks, which is good for everybody.
Hannah's swim instructors have moved beyond and up to coach level. Today they had her pushing to do 50's of all strokes with 5sec rests between directions. There is a competition next weekend and both are pushing her heavily to do it. It feels like she might. We're signing her up for running club, acting and baking classes through school, then peewee soccer through the rec center. Anything to wear her out.
Haley is three days into middle school and has already had the phone number requests from boys start. Oh fun!
Narrator: And without realizing it, and with little fanfare, stoney walked slowly into middle age. We've started family walks, which is good for everybody.
I wouldn't stray too far from a bathroom tomorrow, or not.
