Cricket flour brownies with crunchy ant topping.
Not bad, slightly missing that rich body a bit, and bit high in purine though apparently for people who are prone to gout. If someone gave one to you without telling you, you really probably wouldn’t notice.

brownie. otherwise i'm chillin on the couch with an imperial stout and wondering where to take the kiddo to ride tomorrow. if you're not picky, charlotte's got a truly amazing amount of trails in a 30 minute radius.
Way more to choose from than the Triad, that's for sure.

Well, the crickets may not have been vegan...
They have eyes but they are different from mammalian eyes. IIRC scientists recon ‘eyes’ have evolved independently at least five times down different paths. Do vegans differentiate, and if not, why not?

But the vegans I know wouldn’t differentiate, if it has ‘eyes’, of whatever kind, they ain’t using/eating it.
