reheated and mixed together with peas and brown rice makes for one frightening looking lunch. Who knew the slime would spread to the contents of the entire bowl?

Thats the plan for the rest of it (frying). I used to love boiled okra, but this time around, it seems as though things have changed.

i honestly get sick to my stomach even when i hear people talk about okra. every time we'd visit my aunts house in Louisiana she'd make sea food gumbo with okra. total bastardization of a perfect food. I also NEVER ate when I went there I’d have something to snack on in my backpack and would eat when I went to bed. But hey it’s great to know somebody likes it

My missus makes it. I don't mind it but the slimy texture is a bit off-putting. The Japanese like slimy food. (insert gag smilie here)
My ex used to make a tofu/snap pea/okra/****ake mushroom stir fry with spicy brown sauce. Man she could cook. Only thing I miss about her.
