Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
A couple that I like:

Triple Berry-Banana Yogurt Smoothie
Yields: 2 servings

8 ounces frozen mixed berries
2 small bananas, peeled, cut into 2-inch pieces, and frozen
6 ounces vanilla yogurt
1 cup whole milk (you can sub. any milk but whole milk makes it creamier)
1 to 2 tablespoons honey

Add all ingredients to blender and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Banana Breakfast Smoothie (Emeril Lagasse)
Yields: 2-4 servings

1 banana, peeled, cut into chunks, and frozen
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1 cup ice
2 scoops vanilla ice cream (I used 1 container of vanilla yogurt for b-fast and it worked fine)

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Honeydew Smoothie (also works well with cantaloupe)
Yields: 2 servings

2 cups honeydew melon, cubed
1 cup vanilla low-fat yogurt
2 tablespoons apple juice, from frozen concentrate (you can also use about 1/4 - 1/2 cup apple juice instead just add it slowly until desired consistency)
Ice
Honeydew melon slices, for garnish

In a blender, combine melon, yogurt, and apple juice concentrate. Blend until smooth. With blender running, add ice until frothy.

Pour into 2 (16-ounce) glasses and garnish with sliced melon.

Papaya Smoothie (Dave Lieberman)
Yields: 2 servings

2 cups papaya juice
1/3 cup milk
3 tablespoons honey
6 to 8 cubes ice

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until frothy. Pour into 2 glasses and serve immediately.

You can also do this with mango or guava juice too! And, add a little rum and perhaps a splash of triple-sec and it's a nice cocktail too!

I have a whole book of smoothies! They're one of my favorite summer meal replacements or sweet treats!

Here's the best 6-step smoothie recipe I have-

1. Give your girl her favorite double-strength cocktail
2. Give your girl an unsolicited compliment
3. Give your girl a nice footrub
4. Give your girl a warm backrub
5. Give your girl a kneading shoulder/trapezius rub
6. Recline somewhat wherever you happen to be sitting and apologize for your inattentiveness the preceeding week, making sure to mention that you've had trouble sleeping due to unrelieved work stresses.

Sit back and enjoy the resulting smoothie, and if you are not offered one, consider working hard to improve your personal hygiene and massage techniques.
