Baby Mozart and Wiggles videos worked for me. If it made Alaina laugh/smile, I could watch them for hours (and usually did). Also started teaching her Othello, the board game. Amazing how fast she learned it. I hope your cats are de-clawed, because twitching tails are interesting to young'ns.

That stuff no longer works. It did for a while. Now I'm of the school that there is nothing other than what you see. When your dead, it ends, period. There is no god, there is no evil or good force pulling the strings. There is nothing except what you can see, hear, taste, touch and smell.

As for the kid, it's fine. I don't mind spending time with her, it's just the working while watching the kid thing that gets to me.

I'm alone with her all the time. Pick her up and drop her off to day care. I've never harmed or had the feeling to harm a child or any living thing, other than corporate slimeballs. Too many years in the IT business. That's the problem. However I do fantasize about doing things to certain people. I realize I'm a psychopath, luckily the synapse that holds it all together hasn't connected right?

All I want is for folks to leave me alone and clear a path when I come through. That's not too much to ask, is it?
