The word is that Snow Summit, a prominent DH racing location in SoCal, will be closed to any and all DH racing and riding for the 2005 season. This is due to the fact some rider decided to sue the mountain/park after a crash on the mountain. This rumor is not 100% confirmed ( more like 98%), but insiders have stated that the future of DH racing in Socal is VERY grim. So,if i put a 6" singlecrown on my bullit and take off the dual crown is that then a passable XC bike ?

Seriouslt though, sounds like they will close all DH runs (log poop,westridge and summit) and oh yeah,the "other" good stuff and only allow bikes on the mickey mouse xc trails.
Doesn't matter what bike you got then.Just no good trail allowed period.
