Snowmass nationals were pretty cool! But I was the lone SE rider out there!
Would have like to have had some fellow bro's in the house.
The 4x course was cool with lots of jumps and competition - 32 pros
all but about 4 of us were factory boys- Graves, Holmes, House, Milan top 4
a twenty foot double kept doin me in for qualies and finals -
as you can see here I was representin' (in black) against some good comp with the
snap out of the hole! just kept jumpin' 30 ft. on the under built 20 ft.
double when I led this heat until it got me again.
The DH course was fun and alot less tech than Sugar but, high speeds
of around 50mph no kiddin' - I pulled the rookie move when I thought
my start time was the time of day and not the time back.
Showed up 2 min. late and Norba wouldn't give me my run at the end.
I was pissed and let em know! got to roll the course but, no time counted.
I ripped it to shreds I was so mad, I know that run would have landed me
on the podium, but, if's and butts don't count.
Anyway it was fun but, I have about had it for sure with Norba - they
gave all kinds of bs excuses why they couldn't run me after everyone else
but, whatever- the trip only cost me a couple grand! Still got plenty of practice! I am getting the DH thing down so watch out boys - I'll see yah
at SS in Sept.

I did Snowmass a couple of years ago. It was a fun venue. But it looks like you were laying down the ponies on the start. See you at SS.

Over your shoulder whispering
No doubt that the lightweight skid lid was the key to the snap.

You should have told all of them your age before the start so they could have known just how badass you are bro! :thumb:

Hell yea, major thumbs up to the pull in that pic, Chuckles!!!
Yeah it was my kind of start just a few pedals and into like 10 rollers
of different sizes and distances. Also had the NBL start cadence.
I hadn't done a bmx start all year, and didn't have great starts in practice
but, this was one of my best starts ever. After hanging with Ameil Cavelier
in Sugar and pullin the gate at Snowmass maybe the Giant folks took
some note?
