Hey guys, does anyone have the scoop on the Snowmass National DH course? The site says it will be "All-new" and will be run out of the "two creeks" lift. I looked up the lift and it is a good distance from the village which will suck because the MTX is still on "phanny hill".
On the up side however: A)New course is a good thing considering the old one was blown B)the lift looks waaay long which hopefully means a long course.

Anyone have insider ifo on this shiZ?

They are making/made a new course for the national. Against everyones recomendations it will be over by the two creeks lift. The terrain is flat so do not expect a great course out of this. Also come prepared to ride a gondola back and forth between the dh and mtx. So going from one practice to another your are going to lose practice time. It also makes for a poor central place for pit spaces. It will be a weekend carrying things all over the place.

It will be way better than the old course. The old one was/is sooo beat!!
