I'll be up there Thursday to Sunday for a wedding. I'm not sure that I'll get a chance to ride, but I'm takin' the bike just in case.
Edit: Ballhooter lift runs daily until the 6th. After that it only runs on weekends until 10/17. The shuttles will continue to run daily until that date. They usually open the Western Territory lift on weekends following the Mayhem race, but I'm not sure if they'll do that this year.

The Park and Ballhooter Lift will operate on weekends only after September 6th (Labor Day) and will continue through October 10th -- weather permitting. The Western Territory (Downhill Courses) will still operate with shuttle access every day of the week through the end of the season (October 17th).
I was just up there yesterday, and it was dry as a desert. I wish that NORBA would schedule the Nationals in August cause June is always wet.

Anyone racing at the Mayhem in the Mountains on the 11th & 12th? What exactly is the Super D and Mountain Cross, been outta the racing loop for like 2 years? Someone help me out!
Super D at Snowshoe is mostly a fireroad bomb with some uphill in it. It took me 12 mins to get down the course. It's a blast.Dhextremecb said:
Mountain Cross is four riders racing at once down a course with jumps and berms. The Cross course at Snowshoe is super burly and long. It's one of the best on the circuit thanks to the folks at Racers Edge. Eric Carter was just drooling over it at Norba.

Sweet, I'm stoked I'll prolly be doing all three races, going to be sketchy, putting together my KHS now so i can try to be aquainted with it by then. Hopefully it'll be dry, last time I was at snowshoe...NORBA '01, def a mudbath, better luck this time I hope!
