I work with this guy's mom. He did two tours in Iraq... totally, totally, totally f'ed up... He was giving a guy, who had been stabbed, first aid in the parking lot when the bastard ran over him.
Fort Leonard Wood Soldier Charged With Murder In Lieutenant's Death
AP | 17 Aug
ST. ROBERT, Mo. (AP) -- An Army private is charged with second-degree murder following the death of a lieutenant who was injured outside a nightclub.
Last week, Lieutenant Brian Shoebridge, 36, and an 18-year-old Dixon woman were crushed by a car against a wall of Electras nightclub, near Fort Leonard Wood.
Shoebridge later died, and the car's driver, Private Miguel Angel Campos, 20, was charged by Pulaski County's prosecutor Tuesday with second-degree murder.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled September 13th. But a St. Robert police officer said the case might be turned over to military police because it involved two servicemen.
Police said the crushing appeared accidental because Campos had been involved in another fight in the parking lot, in which five stabbings occurred.
