Up here with my buddy, visiting him, since he just moved here for college. However, since he just recently moved here, he doesnt know any trails.

I'm on campus, but have a truck.

Where are some trails?

here are some shop rides-

Arts Cyclery- on sunday afternoons they shuttle people up the grade and ride down morning or glory or something. I went with them once and they are cool, we road morning glory, a very rocky trail.

Foothill Cyclery- shuttles on mondays- haven't riden w/ them yet

Cambria Outfitters, in slo- (I forgot which day) closes later so doesn't shuttle in the "dark early months". They do xc rides in places like irish hills (behind home depot) and Modonna mtn. (I rode w/ them there and it was fun too).

Call or go to the shops and ask the time they do rides.

well im here till sunday morning, so if its not shuttle, and we have to hike a ibke, or just a mellow ride-thatd be fine. more specifics would be nice on the location, he just moved here a month ago and doesnt have a car, so he pretty much only knows basic locations and stuff like that...
