nah, it's supposed to be that way. It's a pull-shock, it's kinda hard to explain how it attaches but part of it hooks onto the seat tube behind the seatstay yoke, and the other part attaches to the seatstay yoke, and they pull apart.

Yeah, I was a little confused by that K2 frame myself, the first time I saw it.

o ok, i've seen that on a coil shock, but never an air shock.
